On Thursday, Dell Technologies introduced the Alienware x16 R2, a new gaming laptop using the newest Intel Core Ultra CPU, in India. At a starting price of Rs 286,990, the new laptop will be sold starting on April 25 at Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), Dell.com, Amazon.in, bigger format retail stores, and multi-brand outlets.

"It joins the prestigious X Series lineup, renowned for delivering unparalleled gaming performance within the most sophisticated designs available," said Pujan Chadha, Director, Product Marketing, Consumer and Small Business, Dell Technologies, India, in a statement. "Packed with a myriad of upgrades and AI capabilities," the statement read.

With an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor up to speed, the Alienware x16 R2 offers balanced performance across games and workload loads and artificial intelligence (AI) acceleration.

According to the business, this method helps the laptop produce up to a 41% improvement in performance and a 1.9x increase in battery life when compared to similar Alienware notebooks since 2021.

The FHD HDR IR camera and the new laptop's 240Hz refresh rate display (up from 165Hz on the Alienware x16 R1), according to the manufacturer, will further improve games without stuttering and improve visual quality.
